Teaching
The teaching and preaching of God's Word,
the Bible
is the most powerful goal of our assembly.
In ministry meetings, Bible studies, and children's meetings we unflinchingly teach the message of the Gospel and spiritual growth in Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:22 tells us about early Believers in Jesus Christ, that "daily in the temple, and in every house, ... did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ."
We want to honor the Lord like that.
If you want to dig into God's Word, and gain a deeper understanding of who God is, and how He works in our lives, join with us in our Family Bible Hour meeting (Sunday 11:00 am), Bible Studies (Sunday evening, 5:00 pm) or Midweek Prayer and Bible Study (Wednesday, 7:00 pm).
Formal dress is not required.
An Open heart is.

κοινωνία
"Koinonia" is an anglicized Greek word (κοινωνία) that means "communion by intimate participation"... It emphasizes the idea of spending time with one another in love and unity. It can be a social time, or a time of spiritual sharing.
Whatever it may be, we practice "Fellowship" weekly in refreshment times between meetings, in chapel dinners or picnics, or in Family Film nights, and Singspirations.
We enjoy spending time with one another, both in the meetings of the assembly, and outside its walls. These are the times when we "sharpen" each other - times when we sense an unseen purpose of the body of Christ (the church).
Spend time with us, and you will experience the love and unity of "Koinonia" as well!
Prayer
In its simplicity,
prayer
is conversation with God
There are no scripts or absolute formulas required
when we talk with God. All He asks is that we
walk obediently to His Word, speak to Him reverently,
confess our sins regularly, and then talk to Him honestly.
We do that a lot.
We adore Him and make our requests to Him,
knowing He gives Sovereignly
according to His Will.
Join us on Wednesday evenings for our
Midweek Bible Study and Prayer time
when we bring our requests to Him.
Do you have a prayer need right now?
Send us a brief note
and we will pray for you as well.
Service
"... Through
LOVE
serve one
another ..."
Galatians 5:13
We've all heard the saying
"actions speak louder than words".
Thats especially true among Believers.
Concerning Believers (and those who proclaim to be one), God's Word reminds us of an important fact: "by their fruits you will know them" (Matthew 7:19-21) In other words, a true believer in Jesus Christ will show their faith in action, rather than only in what they say.
We try to do that at Bear Lake Bible Chapel. From the greeter who meets you at the door, to those who prepare the refreshments during our Sunday morning fellowship time, we try to serve one another in love.
We don't have a hired staff to clean our building, or a paid ministry staff. We do it together, by ourselves. Following the example of the New Testament Christians, we believe everyone has gifts and talents, and we choose to use them to benefit one another.
What are your gifts? If you love the Lord, and want to serve we welcome you to be a part of our family, and discover the joy of giving yourself.
Sharing the Gospel
If No One Shared the Good News
How Would You Hear It?
Its a stormy night..The roads are nearly invisible due to heavy rain. Driving down a dark narrow road, you are flagged down by another motorist. The bridge ahead has been washed out by flood waters, and by his warning, if you trusted his message, your life would be spared!Wouldn't you be thankful that he took the time and effort to warn you about the impending danger? Its the same with sharing Christ. The Gospel message of salvation is both good news, and a stern warning that without having Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are destined to eternal death - Hell. If people weren't warned about the impending doom of eternity without Christ, how could anyone have the opportunity for eternal life? We openly and boldly share the saving message of the Jesus' death for us on the Cross. He died to take the punishment we deserve for our sin. Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God died so that our sin could be forgiven - if we believe it. What a wonderful message we share! In our preaching, testimonies, and gospel outreach we share Christ. We go out and tell people the good news of Salvation and the free gift of eternal life anyone can have if they would put their trust in Jesus Christ.
